Consent for Data Collection and Usage

1. Purpose

The videos and analysis results collected through DIVA’s analysis services are stored, managed, and utilized by the service provider. This data is used to identify violations of the Marine Ecosystem Conservation and Management Act and for other research purposes.

2. Collected Data

The following data is collected and stored:

3. Data Retention Period

• Data will be permanently stored unless consent is withdrawn.

• If consent is withdrawn, the data will be deleted from the service within 30 days of the withdrawal request.

• After account deletion, data will be retained for 30 days before being permanently deleted.

4. Changing your Consent Preferences

You can modify your data collection and usage consent submitted via the Google Form during registration. From the date of consent, your data may be collected and used for research purposes within the agreed consent period.

(1) Go to My Page

After logging in, click on the profile icon, the select 'My page' to access your account settings.

(2) Modifiy Consent Preferences

You can change your consent preference by selecting the appropriate radio button.

Administrator Access to Data Based on Consent Date

• Even if a user has withdrawn consent, the administrator can still access data if the final analysis was completed before the withdrawal date.

• However, if the final analysis is completed after the consent withdrawal, the administrator will not have access to the data.

(3) View Consent Terms

Click the [View Terms] button to review the details of data collection and usage consent.

✅ Data Storage and Deletion Policy

1. If You Do Not Consent

   1. Access Period: After AI analysis is completed, the video remains accessible for 30 days. During this period, you can review and download the video if needed.

   2. Automatic Deletion: After 30 days, the video will be automatically deleted from DIVA.

2. If You Consent

   1. Storage: The video will be permanently stored in DIVA until it is officially saved in the system.

   2. Download & Deletion: Once the video is stored in DIVA, it will be automatically deleted after 30 days.

3. If You Withdraw Consent

   1. Deletion Timeline: The video will be deleted within 30 days from the date of consent withdrawal.

You can use this service even if you decline consent for data collection and usage. Additionally, you may withdraw your consent at any time.
