After graduating from Software Meister High School, I have been working as a software developer. Currently, I am building my technical skills by optimizing performance and improving the structure of satellite image analysis pipelines. 🌌 With a fascination for space and an interest in data technology, I am currently working for a company that develops satellite image analysis solutions.
Why I Joined DVA LAB | DVA LAB에 합류한 이유
DVA LAB이 추구하는 "기술을 통한 사회적 기여"라는 가치에 깊이 공감했습니다. 🌿 올해 초 돌고래 보호를 위해 드론 영상을 활용하는 프로젝트에 참여하며, 기술이 환경과 사회 문제를 해결하는 데 기여할 수 있다는 점을 실감했습니다. 이 경험은 저에게 큰 영감을 주었고, DVA LAB에 기여하며 제 기술을 더 의미 있는 방향으로 활용하고자 합류하게 되었습니다.
I deeply resonated with DVA LAB's value of “social contribution through technology.” 🌿 Earlier this year, I participated in a project that utilized drone footage for dolphin conservation and realized how technology can contribute to solving environmental and social problems. This experience inspired me to join DVA LAB to contribute and use my skills in a more meaningful way.

저의 여정은 세상과 인간 본질에 대한 관심으로 귀결됩니다. 직무, 산업, 나라에 구애받지 않고, 함께 해야만 바꿀 수 있는 힘을 고민함과 동시에, 나다운 삶의 방위를 따라 묵묵히 나아가면서요.

I navigate freely across various domains of experience design, including performance direction, scenic design, film art direction, interior architecture, and drone/automotive HMI/UX planning.
My journey ultimately converges on a deep interest in the essence of humanity and the world. Unbound by roles, industries, or borders, I ponder the collective strength required to create change while steadily pursuing a life true to myself.
To avoid stagnation, I actively create opportunities to share knowledge and ideas with people from diverse fields, fostering empathy and solidarity to build an environment where I can continue doing what I love for a long time.
Currently, I am the host of a transcription ritual club and a reading habit community, as well as a writer exploring the intersection of ESG and UX. As someone who genuinely cares about the climate crisis, I also run an environmental group. 🌱
Why I Joined DVA LAB | DVA LAB에 합류한 이유
DVA Lab에 합류한 이유는 크게 두 가지로 정리할 수 있어요. 해양 생물 보호에 대한 열정과 드론에 대한 애정입니다.
먼저, 해양 생물 보호는 제가 정말 소중히 여기는 가치예요. 친환경 커뮤니티에서 환경 독서 모임과 다큐 토론을 진행하며 해양 환경 문제에 더 깊이 알게 되었고, 자연스럽게 관심이 커졌습니다. 이후 해양 정화 봉사활동을 꾸준히 참여해 왔어요. 그러면서 '내가 가진 디자인 역량으로도 해양 생물 보호에 기여할 수 있지 않을까?'라는 생각을 했습니다.
그리고 드론 서비스 개발로 직무 경험을 강화하고 싶었어요. 이전에 국내 최초로 원격 드론 관제 시스템과 드론 데이터 플랫폼을 기획하고 디자인했던 경험이 있습니다. 현재는 자동차 산업에 몸담고 있지만, 드론 관련 프로젝트를 다시 하고 싶다는 아쉬움이 늘 있었어요. 그러던 중 DVA Lab을 알게 되었고, 마치 저를 위한 프로젝트라는 느낌이었어요.
DVA Lab의 취지는 '사회와 환경에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 베푸는 사람'이 되자는 저의 비전과 부합하다는 생각이 들었습니다. 비슷한 가치를 공유하는 사람들과 함께 열정을 쏟고, 의미있는 프로젝트를 만들어 갈 수 있다는 점에서 큰 기대감을 가지고 합류했어요 🙌
The reasons I joined DVA Lab can be summarized into two key points: my passion for marine life conservation and my love for drones.
First, marine life conservation is a value I deeply cherish. Through my involvement in an ESG community, where I lead book clubs and documentary discussions on environmental topics, I’ve gained a deeper understanding of marine environmental issues and naturally developed a keen interest in them. This led me to consistently participate in marine cleanup activities. Over time, I began to wonder, "Couldn’t I contribute to marine life conservation through my design skills?"
Second, I wanted to enhance my professional experience through drone service development. In the past, I had the opportunity to plan and design the first-ever remote drone surveillance system and drone data platform in Korea. While I currently work in the automotive industry, I’ve always felt a lingering desire to engage in drone-related projects again. When I discovered DVA Lab, it felt like the perfect opportunity tailored just for me.
The mission of DVA Lab, to "create a positive impact on society and the environment and become someone who gives back," aligns perfectly with my vision. I’m excited to work alongside like-minded individuals, channel my passion, and contribute to meaningful projects that make a difference. 🙌

호기심 많은 개발자입니다. 게임을 하다가 컴퓨터의 작동 원리가 궁금해져 공부하게 되었고, 결국 컴퓨터 공학을 전공하게 되었습니다. 졸업 후에는 개발자로 일하고 있습니다.
컴퓨터 분야뿐만 아니라 다양한 분야에서도 항상 “왜 이런 걸까?”, “어떻게 작동하는 걸까?“라는 질문을 끊임없이 해왔으며, 지금도 하고 있고 앞으로도 계속할 예정입니다.
I am a curious developer. While playing games, I became curious about how computers work, which led me to study the subject and eventually major in computer science. Since graduated, I've been working as a software engineer.
My curiosity is not limited to the field of computers, I have always asked myself questions like, “Why is this happening?” and “How does this work?” I have been consistently sought answers to these questions, continue to do so, and plan to keep doing so in the future.
Why I Joined DVA LAB | DVA LAB에 합류한 이유
어렸을 때부터 고래라는 동물에 흥미를 느끼고 관심이 많았으며, 한때 해양 생물학자가 되는 것이 꿈이었습니다.
제주도에 놀러 갔을 때 대정읍 해안가에서 돌고래 무리를 본 적이 있는데, 생각보다 선박들이 돌고래 무리 가까이 접근하는 모습을 보고 조금 걱정이 되었습니다. 그러다 우연히 커넥트데이에서 DVA LAB의 발표를 보게 되었고, 기회가 된다면 꼭 참여하고 싶다고 생각했습니다.
It has been my dream to know more about whales and even swim with them since I was young, and at one point, I even dreamed of becoming a marine biologist.
During a trip to Jeju Island, I saw a pod of dolphins near the coast of Daejeong-eup but I some dolphin watching ships approaching too close to the pod which I thought too dangerous. Then, by chance, I attended the CONNECT DAY where I saw a presentation by DVA LAB. That was the time I would want to participate in DVA LAB.
